Ashley Monroe and Fancy Hagood are bringing a slice of Nashville to our OZ! For country singer-songwriter Ashley Monroe, this marks a return to Melkweg. Known as a member of the supergroup Pistol Annies — alongside Miranda Lambert and Angaleena Presley — she’s also built a successful solo career. Musically, she’s unafraid to experiment, embracing everything from country and Americana to pop. This year, her sixth album will be released, the follow-up to 'Rosegold' (2021).
Ashley Monroe is hitting the road with queer country artist Fancy Hagood. Since his debut album 'Southern Curiosity', Hagood has proven himself to be a bold and expressive voice in the country world. With fearless storytelling, a strong artistic identity, and flamboyant charisma, he released his latest work American Spirit: The Last Drag earlier this year. On tracks like 'Isn’t That Life' — featuring Michelle Branch — his blend of classic country sounds and a pop background comes together beautifully.
