In Brazilian slang, “shaking your raba” means dancing with your bum up and down — celebrating yourself without worrying about what others think. It’s all about joy, creativity, and freedom in your body, shared with others. BIXARIA plays contemporary Brazilian electronic music, but it’s far more than your average club night. Performers and audience co-create the experience. Each edition comes with a theme — so dress up, live your fantasy, and let go!

Manifesto
At BIXARIA, we don’t assume anyone’s gender, and we’re not concerned with how people look. This is a space for experimentation — on your own terms, in whatever way you need. We have a door policy and a Gender Awareness Team led by Mother Lucía: a gender coach and floor manager who’s always present to support, guide, and look after the well-being of our community throughout the night.
Our space centres immigrant, BIPOC and experimental communities — the ones we are part of ourselves. But everyone who comes to support the vibe is welcome.
BIXARIA is organised by La Cigra$$ninha, an artist with community-driven projects across multiple countries.
