The British band Fischer-Z has been making exciting, provocative pop records since the late 1970s as part of the new wave explosion of that time. With albums like 'Word Salad', 'Going Deaf For A Living', and 'Red Skies Over Paradise', they have scored worldwide hits such as 'The Worker', 'Marliese', and 'So Long'.
Last year, Fischer-Z treated us to a double dose of new music: two albums exploring themes close to frontman John Watts' heart—people, politics, and psychology. On one hand, there’s the band album 'Triptych'. However, in 2025, Watts will visit Amsterdam solo as part of his second, alternative album 'Red Flag Record'.
