After her sold-out OZ show, Oklou returns to Melkweg this autumn!
Oklou is the musical project of French singer, composer, DJ and actress Marylou Mayniel. From her classical background, she made the move into experimental art and electronica. Oklou's dreamy, futuristic pop songs contain ambient influences with a supernatural vibe. With leading label NUXXE (Sega Bodega, Shygirl et al), she's released several songs that have been particularly embraced by a niche audience.
After the success of ‘Galore’ (2020), the French singer and producer returns with her well-known dreamy futuristic-pop sounds on her brand new album ‘choke enough’. Listen to it now here on Spotify.
Jazz Lambaux is a songwriter and producer currently based in Paris, France. Refusing to choose between instrumental composition, the DIY ethos, and pop music, he collaborates with Breton bagpipe player Enora Morice. Together, they blend the sounds of the bagpipes with processed samples and vocals. He has shared the stage with artists such as A.G. Cook, John Zorn, and Clarissa Connelly. On November 19, he will open for Oklou at Melkweg.
