THE HYPERPOP FAIRYTALE OF PYXLS
Melkweg speaks with PYXLS founder Bianca to rewind and reflect on the whimsical rollercoaster leading up to a hyper-fuelled ADE edition with Danny L Harle, YoungWoman and Willem Feltzer.

Amsterdam collective PYXLS dives headfirst into hyperpop, giving it a megaphone within the electronic scene.
Hyperpop, you ask? Think of it as a glitchy crossroads where the past, present and future of pop collide. From sugar-sweet hooks to completely unhinged walls of industrial noise — complete with unexpected genre switches that make your brain reboot. Artists such as SOPHIE, Charli XCX, A. G. Cook and Danny L Harle have defined the genre and its sound, pushing it onto the global stage. Much of it can be traced back to London’s PC Music label.
Following a sold-out ADE edition with Danny L Harle, this edition’s headliner is set to be top-notch once again. Who it is will be revealed soon. Stay tuned and keep an eye on PYXLS’ socials!
