The South African band Spoegwolf is returning to Melkweg with new music! Spoegwolf brings together fans of all ages and transcends genres and cultures. With their unique harmonies and powerful lyrics, they captivate audiences at venues of all sizes: from intimate theater shows to boisterous festivals. Since their last show, the band has released several singles, including “Ek kyk na jou,” “My Huis,” and “Hou Weer Moed.” After their very first tour in the United States, the guys are returning to our capital this summer.
This evening, they’re bringing none other than Jack Parow along! Parow’s career began with features on Die Antwoord and Fokofpolisiekar, but his solo breakthrough came in 2010 with the hits “Cooler As Ekke” and “Dans dans dans.” In the Netherlands, he’s collaborated with The Opposites and De Jeugd van Tegenwoordig, and more recently on ‘...
