Tra Fasi (2026)

In Tra Fasi, filmmaker Charity Charly takes us to Suriname, where young punker Shavero is trying to create space for alternative subculture. In a society where being different is not always easily accepted, he brings together musicians, artists, and outsiders to carve out their own space. The film follows Shavero as he organizes an event for the alternative scene, showing how music and subculture can offer a place for self-expression, connection, and freedom. 

Melkweg often hosts different types of programmes at the same time, such as concerts, club nights and films. Please note that there may occasionally be some noise pollution from other programmes during the screening.
