Our ADE film programme is confirmed! From 16 to 20 October, you can watch some great films with live music and talks in our Cinema

It’s no secret that the queer community throws some of the best parties in the world. From Andy Warhol’s Silver Factory and the legendary Studio 54 of the late 1970s to Berlin’s iconic Berghain, queer nightlife has long shaped club culture. And this WorldPride, Amsterdam’s vibrant LGBTQIA+ scene is no exception. Melkweg has selected seven club nights you won’t want to miss during Club Chrome. Each with its own unique flavour, twist and commitment to uplifting its community through nightlife.
The newest horse in the Melkweg stable, but by no means a newcomer. From intimate clubs to major festival stages, Paardenrave has already left its hoofprints at Blijdorp Festival, TillaTec and Perron. The secret behind its success? Every venue is transformed into a temporary pony club where carrots fly through the air and inhibitions are left at the door. Whether you're a horse girl, leather daddy, rodeo queen or simply horse-curious, everyone is welcome in this stable. A striking name on this night's line-up is Promis3: the queer Belgian duo fusing hyperpop, hard dance and Y2K nostalgia. Equal parts chaotic, euphoric and unapologetically queer, they're the perfect match for Paardenrave's high-energy playground.
For the third Pride in a row, Rapido and Funhouse return to Melkweg for their spectacular Pride Opening Event. And with WorldPride taking over the city, they're pulling out all the stops. Both the MAX and OZ transform into a seductive circus where house music, drag and unapologetic queer energy come together. In the Main Room, Kitty Glitter and Kingstone deliver uplifting house sets built for the dance floor, while the Second Room becomes a drag-fuelled playground packed with performances and surprises.
No matter where you're from, who you love or how you identify: if you come with love and good energy, you're welcome at Pon di Pride XXL. Taking over three rooms at Melkweg, this WorldPride edition brings together the very best of Afro, Dancehall, Amapiano and Caribbean club culture. Expect explosive DJ sets, a live brass band, surprise performances and even a low-stimulation space for neurodivergent baddies. More than just a party, Pon di Pride XXL is a joyful celebration of chosen family, cultural pride and queer community in all its forms.
Amsterdam collective PYXLS dives headfirst into genres like Hyperpop, PC Music and Euro Trance, giving it a megaphone within the electronic scene. Following their hugely successful ADE edition with Danny L Harle, the collective returns with another special guest. This time, they join forces with HD Heaven, the club night curated by PC Music icon Hannah Diamond. A perfect match, and a night lovingly crafted for pixies from every corner of the world.
Striptopia is a high-energy adult playground where music, live performance and club culture collide in one booty-shaking celebration. Think of it as the classic American strip club fantasy, playfully reimagined by and for queer people. For its WorldPride edition, the collective welcomes Blackstage Pole: a Black, queer, sex worker-led organisation championing QTIBPOC communities, care and visibility. A vital force within the community whose work deserves to be celebrated, especially during WorldPride.
A striking name on this edition's line-up is Alma Negrot. Acidic, vibrant and deeply rooted in queer culture, Alma's performances blur the boundaries between club music, drag and live art—making them a perfect fit for Striptopia's unapologetically playful universe.
Want to shake your raba? Then Bixaria is the party for you. Created by and for queer immigrants, the collective brings the vibrant energy of Brazil's streets and nightlife to Melkweg. For this special edition, they're teaming up with Berlin-based collective VRAU, who share the same community-driven values. Soundtracked by the very best of Baile Funk, expect a night fuelled by joy, sensuality, freedom and collective creativity. One of the night's standout performances comes from actress, director and singer Vita Pereira: following her successful spell with Irmãs de Pau, she has channelled that stage experience into her own artistic vision: 'Vita’s House' is a performative manifesto in which she explores the aesthetics and culture of Brazilian funk in an innovative way.
Together with Internationaal Theater Amsterdam (ITA), Melkweg presents a closing party where theatre, club culture and music come together under one roof. Wander through the monumental building as every space comes alive with DJ sets, live performances and unexpected encounters. One last dance. One last celebration. One last chance to experience the spirit of Club Chrome and honour the spirit of Pride.
With Club Chrome, Melkweg presents a WorldPride programme that reflects what the venue champions all year round: creating space for queer artists, stories and communities. Curious to see what else is on? Discover the full programme below.
