MELKWEG CELEBRATES 20 YEARS OF 'DAVE CLARKE PRESENTS'

This year, Melkweg marks a major milestone during Amsterdam Dance Event: '20 Years of Dave Clarke Presents'. What began as a forward-thinking techno night has, two decades on, evolved into the longest-running event at ADE — a cornerstone of the festival. On Friday 24 October, you’ll experience exactly why this night has been the beating heart of ADE for twenty years, with an anniversary-worthy line-up hosted by the Baron of Techno himself.

Dave Clarke needs little introduction. The British DJ and producer is known for his raw, high-energy sound and uncompromising vision of techno. With a prolific international career, his own radio show (White Noise), and an unmatched talent for spotting emerging artists, Clarke has long championed the underground on the world’s biggest stages. His lasting impact hasn’t gone unnoticed by the music industry either — he was previously named an ADE Ambassador.

The anniversary line-up at Melkweg is truly one to remember. Expect a multi-layered night filled with live acts, hybrid sets and an in-depth film programme. Highlights include techno and electro icons such as Marcel Dettmann, FJAAK and Helena Hauff. Live and hybrid sets will come from Anthony Rother, Digital 21 & Stefan, Dopplereffekt and Radioactiveman. And as the cherry on top: a rare back-to-back set from Trentemøller and TOM And His Computer under the name MOTORPSYCH!!!. Clarke himself will both open and close the night — a full circle moment in celebration of his 20-year legacy.
