YoungCreatives
At Melkweg, we believe in the power of young talent. Whether you dream of a career in the cultural sector, want to pitch an innovative program, or are simply curious about what happens behind the scenes – there’s a place for you. Through initiatives like Milk Made, our internship opportunities, and co-curator roles, you’ll have the chance to actively help shape our program. We’re looking for makers, thinkers, dreamers, and doers with a fresh perspective. We invite you to leave your own mark on what happens on stage.
Supporting young talent and emerging subcultures is in our DNA. Since the very beginning, major international names have shared our stage with national and local creators – in the Expo, Cinema, and our concert and club venues. With programs like RADAR, we actively seek out artists who aren't yet represented by an agent but do have something to say. We're the place where young musicians perform their graduation shows.
We're also a hub for young musicians to find information, through initiatives like Wat is die MO and The Pitch. In the EXPO, you’ll regularly find work by new artists, whom we continue to support through development programs like Follow. We remain curious about unheard voices, unexpected images, and new sounds. We scout them ourselves too – and give them a stage in our own curated festivals, such as Oyster, Pretty Pissed, and Kaynaş Club.

Melkweg Young Creatives is here for a new generation of makers and doers.
We believe that culture grows by creating space for different perspectives – for people with new ideas, diverse backgrounds, and unique stories. By involving young creatives in shaping both our programming and the way we work, we stay sharp and ensure that Melkweg remains a place where different worlds come together. What you learn, you put into practice right away – with guidance, trust, and the freedom to experiment.
