Statement Mychelle:

Hey everyone,

I’m so sad to announce that I won’t be able to travel for the upcoming EU & UK tour as planned, and because of this, all shows other than Reeperbahn Festival & Jazz Café, London are cancelled.

Really sorry to those of you who were looking forward to the performances. Singing and performing to you all is my favourite thing to do so I will definitely be back on the road soon!

I hope as many of you as possible can join me at Reeperbahn Festival & the Jazz Café, I will put my all in to making those shows special for you!

Opgegroeid in de straten van Hackney, Londen, vond Mychelle op haar tiende al haar eerste liefde: de gitaar. Als tiener veroverde ze de stad als straatmuzikant en in 2019 werd ze gespot door niemand minder dan Idris Elba. Hij haalde haar de studio in, waar ze te horen is op 'The Yardie Mixtape', de soundtrack bij zijn film 'Yardie'.

Fast forward naar nu: na haar debuutsingle That Way in 2021 dropt Mychelle dit jaar een verse lading nieuwe tracks, waaronder 'Sweet Nothings', 'Seasons' en 'You Don't Care About Me'. Eerder stond Mychelle al op de allereerste editie van ons festival Oyster, en we zijn blij haar opnieuw te mogen verwelkomen!
